TO RESTORE PROSPERITY.
BRITISH GOVERNMENT’S EFFORTS, Rugby, March 7. Sir Ramsay Mac Donald. who attended the inaugural lunch of the South London Exhibition, which was opened at Crystal Palace, in a brief speech, said that the safety of every step the Government had taken in measures to restore prosperity had been carefully considered 111 relation to the whole scheme of progressive evolution. That was the course they were endeavouring to continue. They had not gone in for great plans, but they had carefully studied in detail problems ci industry, and had done their best to face and solve them one alter another. They were still engaged in that task.
