ROXBURGH BOROUGH COUNCIL. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Pursuant to Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 192G,” that the Roxburgh Borough Council propose raising A LOAN of One Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£1,500) for Building a Reservoir and Improvements to the Water Supply . The term of the Loan shall be for a period not exceeding Thirty (30) years, and the proposed security for the Loan and to provide Interest and Sinking Fund shall be an annual recurring special rate of four and three-quarters (4|d) of a penny in the Pound (£) on the annual value of all rateable property within the Borough. The provision for the repayment of the loan will be by way of a Sinking Fund of One Pound Fifteen Shillings (£1 15s) per cent, per annum during the currency of the Loan. No portion of the interest or the Sinking Fund of the above Loan will be paid out of Loan Money. A POLL of the Ratepayers of the said Borough of Roxburgh, to decide whether the above Loan Proposal shall be given effect to. shall be held in the Town Clerk’s office, Roxburgh, between the hours of 9 a.rn. and 7 p.m. on THURSDAY, the 15th day of March, .1934, Dated at Roxburgh this 13th day of February, 1934.
