The town clerk reported that during the .month the annual audit of the accounts for the year ending 31st March, 1933, had been made, and that everything had been found in order. The collection for the month had been; Rates, £157 13s 7d; pictures, £45 17s bd; reserve fees £2 12s (id; hall rents £0 12s (id; reserve rentals £Bl 10s 4d; traffic fees £9 19s 9d; heavy traffic apportionment meat £2(3 6s 9d; highways subsidy £9 5s JOd; motor licenses 10s; — total £350 18s 9d. Kates, with a month yet to collect, are £35 better than last year. The balance, which was a debit of £722 at the end of last year, is expected to be reduced to about £2OO this year. The following accounts were passed for payment: —Pictures £l4 0s 8d; unemployment £l2 7s (id; insurance on band property £3 18s 2d; wages and salaries £46; 11. W. Todd £2 14s; Stone and Son £1 3s Id; audit fees £l7 2s; Stone and Strain £2 8s 6d; Sundries £1 18s Id; —£101 l?s.
