REDUCTION IN PAID HOLIDAYS.
As an additional economy measure the Bruce County Council at Wednesday’s special meeting; decided to reduce the. npmber of paid holidays for its permanent outdoor employees from nine days to live. The limited paid holidays in future are Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday and Anzac Day. The paid holidays eliminated are Anniversary Day, King’s Birthday, Labour Day, and Boxing Day.
