MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
Not a great deal of interest was manifested in the biennial election of a new council, and the new Council, with the exception of the Mayor, is practically the same as held 'office during the past two years. Mr J. A. lioggiero, who filled the office of Mayor with great credit to hiiasclf and the Borough during the past two years did not seek re-election, and this responsible office has now been taken by Mr John H. Waigth. Following are the members of the new Council, with their nominators : MAYOR. John Harry Waigth, nominated by Joseph Tumbull and Charles Sloper. COUNCILLORS. William Mercer, nominated by J. A. Roggiero and F. A. Laloli. Morto J. Murphy, nominated by J. A. Roggiero and F. A. Laloli. Robert Wilson, nominated by F. A. Laloli and Thomas Whelan. Thomas Whelan, nominated by James Thompson and Joseph Turnbull. Mark Morton, nominated by Richard F. Kitto and Henry Henderson. James Leonard Rooney, nominated by F. A. Laloli and David Watson.
