At 1 o'clock on Monday afternoon Mr Brown, an attorney at Toronto. received a letter from a woman complaining that her husband had committed bigamy. Half an hour later th' husband was arrested, and next morning he was sentenced to three years' imprisonment. Bank notes to the value of £lO7 have been received by the KeceiverGeneral from some person unknown as conscience money to the Government.
