Report. The da\ man reported as follows : For the past month the drainage hole down at the old lagoon has been finished and built round with atones; also a fence erected around it. Carried some more gravel up to penstock. ihe ditch troin ambulance shed to Old lagoon has ,t,i-en cleaned out. KoreiaVunii has been cleajred oh' footpath m Jedisurgh street and tootpath from Redman's to top of rise has been levelled off. Stones in main street have been Knapped. This street is gettimg in a very bad state for want of gravel it being completely worn down en to the bare stones. 1 had to go and turn in race as the reservoir creek was almost dry. 1 am now c rting gravel and tilling ha holes in road at tap cud e-f borough.—The matter of protecting the hoi''from children was brought up an i it was decided that the Works I ommittee get the hole covered over. The matter of iixing up the main road was discussed and it was resolved that the Wor-s Committee inspect the main sir et with a vi*w to getting it gravelled, and report to a special meeting of the Council on Thursday, 12th inst. Alteration of Meeting.

An account from the Otago Fmployars' Association for £2 "Js for conduct of General Labourers' Dispute, was read, and after consideration it was referred back for explanation. A plan oi the suggested tiller t*t the intake of the pipe-line at the Water Works was laid ou the table after an informal discussion it was resolved that the Works Committee go into the matter of the filteriag tank and gi\e a detailed account of the cost.
