Poultry and D.D.T.
Those poultry-keepers who may be looking forward to using D.D.T. for killing lice on poultry will be interested to know that American experiments show that D.D.T., even if used at up to 10 per cent strength, does not give results better than the older methods of destroying poultry lice with powders or chemicals. The trials with D.D.T. for killing body lieo on fowls were curried out by an American university.
