“Peeping Tom” Caught By Vigilance Committee

(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 27. Owing J,o annoyance by a “peeping Toni”, a number of residents of Naeuae, Lower Hutt, formed a vigilance committee and ou Sunday night caught the culprit peering through a window. They caught him after a chase.. He was John te Roa Raroa, aged 28, a labourer, residing in a Public Works camp. The police told the Court Avhen he appeared, charged with being on enclosed premises, that he had a bad record, including a conviction ior assault on a female- Accused Avas sentenced to one month.
