Bulls
At a special meeting of the R.S.A. Queen Committee, Mr. J. H. Ellery presided. A sub-committee has now' been formed in Parewanui, the chairwoman being Mrs. J. 11. Bussell and the secretary Mrs. J. Nielson. The card evening held in Parewanui resently proved most successful and another is to be held shortly. The sub-committee has been offered assistance from Flock House and the Parewanui school children. It was resolved that in future all members of the ladies’ committee be charged I/when helping at dances instead of paying the full admission. On race day four boys of the junior section are to assist in the selling of race cards, the commission earned to bo added to tho fighting fund of the Bangitikei Queen. A shop day is to be held early in December. Tho chairman mentioned that it was with regret that ho reported the presence of a whisperI ing campaign in Bulls and that he hoped the remainder of the carnival would be free from such.
