Whakarongo Flower Show
A very successful show was held recently by the Wliq-karongo Women’s Institute tkero being many beautiful blooms and a comprehensive display of necdlowork and knitting. The show was opened by Mrs McLelland president of the W.I. Federation, who congratulated tho Institute on the success of the show, especially the entries in cut blooms which were excellent in spite of a difficult year. She offered special congratulations to Mrs. L. G. Morris for showing the champion bloom of the show, this being a rose. The children’s entries were especially good too.
