Big Cut in “Monty’s” Staff Urged
Received Tuesday, 8.20 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 13. Captain D. Rees-Williams, attacking Field-Marshal Montgomery on the question of the demobilisation of officers, which was raised in the House of Commons for the second time in five days, referred to “swollen garrisons” and urged that Field-Marshal Montgomery’s staff should be cut by 60 per cpnt.
