Endeavour to Solve Palestine Problem
Received Sunday, 9.35 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 11. The Foreign Secretary (Mr. Bevin) ■will make a statement in the House ol Commons next week on the Government's new policy for Palestine, which may involve a British and American joint plan for immediate rather than long-term action for a solution of the Palestine problem, says the Exchange Telegraph’s diplomatic correspondent.
The Norwegian merchant navy lost 40.1 ships and 3100 men during tho war. Tho German occupation cost Norway about £1,250.000.000 sterling.
