I On Saturday evening at the Feilding Communtiy Centre members of the Feilding R.S.A. listonded to an interesting address by Mr. L. Robert, of Palmerston North, who talked about the Middle East campaign. Tho speaker served in Greece, Crete and the Desert Campaign and on to Italy and had some interesting experiences to recount. Supper was served by the Women's Section of the R.S.A. Armistice Day was marked in Feilding yesterday when the lire alarm sounded the commencement of the two minutes’ silence at 11 a.m. At the Soldiers’ Memorial in Manchester Square, Mr. T. Donaldson president of the Feilding R.S.A., was joined with several citizens and a wreath was placed on the memorial. Councillor C. B. McClure represented the Borough Council. The Mavor (Mr. T. L. Soddon) and other Cllrs. attended the services at their respective churches.
