LONDON, Nov. 8. The Home Office has revealed that a Portuguese national, Rogairo de Memezes, who wrote messages in 'invisible ink relating to the London anti-aircraft defences to the enemy was sentenced to death on April 2, 1943. After appealing unsuccessfully to the Court of Criminal Appeal he was reprieved by the Home Secretary on May 26, 1943. His conviction was not disclosed earlier for security reasons.
