Elocutionary Pupils In Varied Recitals

Owing to the number of items to bo presented by her pupils at her annual recital in aid of the Willard Home, Miss Freda Whittaker has been obliged to divide the programme for two presentations on Wednesday and Thursday next which means there will be a complete change of programme on the second evening. These recitals are eagerly awaited and clever young people will be heard in a wide variety of elocutionary numbers such as recitations, dialogues, character singing and monologues. There will be five plays, four by junior pupils and one by the seniors, their choice being “The Willing Horse 0 the excellent New Zealand play which was so well received when presented by the Post Office team in an inter-house festival a year or so ago. Patrons will have the added satisfaction of stimulating entertainment as well as aiding a good cause.
