Feilding Live Stock Sale

BUOYANT MARKETS FOR ALL SECTIONS. Buoyant markets for all sections were experienced at yesterday’s live stock sale at Feilding with values generally firm. High prices ruled for a special entry of over 500 A.A. and Hereford yearling steers from Wangaehu. These were nice young cattle in very good condition and their presence excited good competition. Beef values were steady with a good selection of station sorts including some attractive medium heavy bullocks. A firming tendency was registered in the store sheep section where the demand for hoggets was very keen. For so early in the new season the market was unusually strong. Fat Shep.
