The Dominion Auctioneering Coy. report a keen demand for pigs at their weekly sale, all classes commanding keen competition. Poultry also was keenly sought after resulting in high prices again ruling. Large supplies of produce and vegetables came forward, with prices easing somewhat for cauliflowers. Quotations: — Pigs: Weaners 30s to 365, slips £2 to £2 ss, stores £2 15s to £2 17s, light porkers to £3 2s Gd, choppers £3 15s. Poultry: Heavy cockerels 9s 4d to 10s Id each, medium 6s to 7s lOd, small 2s 6d to 4s 6d, heavy hens 7s 9d to 8s Id, medium 5s Id to 6s 7d, light 3s 6d to 4s 6d, geese 6s lOd to 7s Id, ducks and drakes 5s 4d to 6s 4d, roosters 8s to 10s.
