Pig Sale
The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Palmerston North, report conducting a special sale of pigs in their yards on Tuesday on account of Mr. Keith Currie of Woodville. There was a good at-' tendance of buyers and every pig was sold under keen competition, sales being as follows: —Pedigree Tamworth sows to farrow, 9sgns. to 12£gns., averaging lljgns; pedigree Berkshire sows to farrow, Bfgns. to 18gns., averaging llfgns.; young three months old. Berkshire sows and boars averaged sgns.; sows and litters, £l3 13s, while a pedigree Tamworth boar realised 9£gns.; store pigs sold from 33s to 435, weaners 18s to 245; a nice line of six maiden sows to farrow sold on behalf of Mr. Vowell averaged slightly over £ll.
