Feilding Bowling Club
‘‘A year of remarkable material achievement,” records Mr. J. S Kit(p T i ; e^ dent ) in his annual report of the feilding Bowling Club which pays tribute to an enterprising and energetic committee for its contribution in overtaking leeway in maintenance, repairs and improvements. {Specially mentioned in this regard is Mr. R. Burne. .Improvements to the value oi £250 were made to the club’s property during the year and after writing off £2l 10s depreciation the financial position revealed a profit of £34 10s. “We are thus able to hand over the club’s property, equipment and finances in first-class order to the incoming committee.” The membership was: Life G, honorary 8, active 63. The club won the Dixon Cup during the year and also the Manawatu Centro rinks championship. The singles champion for the season was T. Rosanoski, the pairs champions T. Rosanoski and L. H. Rodgers, and the colts champion H. L. Walkor. Thanks are recorded to the Ladies Bowling Club and the Croquet Club and to Me.sdnmes Jarrett, Way, Bootes, Rosanoski and Hastio iu particular for supervising refreshment arrangements. Appreciation is recorded for the work of Mr. L. Fergusson in supervising the greens.
