The Manavvatu Homing Pigeon. Club concluded its young bird season in June. Despite unfavourable weather conditions there was good racing and the re suits were as follows: — Ohakune: Iv. Shirley 1, Vining Bros. Taumarunui: S. Hodren 1, R. Anthony 2, K. Shirley 3. Te Ivuiti: S. Hodren 1, R. Anthony 2, R. Spencer 3. Te Kuiti (three bird teams): T. Andrews 1, only team on day. Frankton Junction: R. Spencer 1. New Plymouth: K. Shirley 1, R. Spencer 2, S. Hodren 3. Paekakariki: R. Spencer 1, Vining Bros. 2, R. Anthony 3. Pukerua Bay: R. Spencer 1, Vining Bros. 2, S. Hodren 3. Wellington: R. Spencer 1, S. Hodren 2, Vining Bros. 3. Kaikoura: T. Andrews 1, R. Spencer 2, B. Bodell 3.
