(From Our Own Correspondent.) Air. and Airs. Iv. Anderson have returned from an enjoyable holiday spent at Auckland and in the Waikato district.

Air. and Airs. J. Alills, “Tolara Park,” were recently tho guests of honour when a number of friends gathered to celebrate their silver wedding. During the evening cards, ping pong and games were played. Air. W Towler proposed the toast of tlii “Bride and Groom,” Air. Alills responding. Airs. Alills was then called on to cut tho white and silver wedding
The scries of fortnightly euchre tournaments which have been conducted under the auspices of the Stanway Women’s Institute, were concluded recently. The winners were Aliss Glere and Air. Short, the consolation prizes going to Airs. James and Air. L. Ferguson. The aggregate prize winners were Aliss T. Christian and Air. L. Wilson, the consolation prize winners being Airs. James and Air. Berryman.
