Good Progress in Indian Leaders’ Talks

Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, June 26. The Indian leaders at the Viceroy’s Conference reached provisional conclusions and expressed the wish to confer among themselves, says Reuter’s Simla correspondent. This announcement was made an hour and a half after the opening of to-day’s session. The conference adjourned to 10 tomorrow.

Efforts by prominent members of both the Congress and Moslem League to bring about an understanding between the two bodies were reported late last night and the leaders’ reactions to these efforts are expected to become evident to-day.
