Manawatu Rugby Union
At the meeting of the management committee of the Alanawatu Rugby Union on Tuesday it was decided to take steps to arrange lor homo and away representative matches with Wellington, Wanganui and Hawke’s Bay. The Taranaki Rugby Union is to be invited to send a team through to Palmerston North for a representative match which is owing Manawatu. Tho outstanding services rendered Manawatu rugby by Alessrs. K. W. Eglinton and W. Carruthers, members of the executive who did not seek reelection this year, are to bo placed on record. The question of re-introducing team sheets was discussed and held over pending a consultation with the Referees’ Association. In connection with the June 3 holiday it was resolved to invite Wellington to send a team through for that day. Te Aute and St. Patrick’s Silverstream Colleges are to bo asked to play their annual games with the Palmerston North Boys’ High School. WHOLESALE DESTRUCTION Germs destroyed by quick Pulmonas action.
