British Bombers Assist Russians

Beceived Thursday, 11.50 p.m. LONDON, Marsh S. More than 1250 B.A.F. heavy bombers were over Germany last night. The main objectives were Dessau, now an important base for the eastern front, and oil refineries at Harburg near Hamburg and Helde In Schleswig-Holstein. Berlin was also attacked for the sixteenth night running. Dessau, a city of 75,000 people OS miles southwest of Berlin, is one of the few German cities hitherto unbombed. The attack was heavy and concentrated and the city wae a maze of flame when the last bomber left.
