In the Feilding district tennis competitions Feilding Club won from St. Brigid’s Club by 16 sets to nil (12U games) (3.2 games) and Halcombe Club defeated Cheltenham Club by 13 sets (112 games) to 3 sets (59 games). Clapham lost to D. and E. Sinclair, 5 —7; G. Judd and D. McNae beat M. Short and S. Richardson, 7—3. Women’s doubles: P. and N. O’Sullivan beat M. Sinclair and J. Anderson, 7 —2; V. and P. Won by Feilding 120 games 16 sets to 32 games 0 sets. For the second stage of the Feilding ewe fair - to-day thero is an entry of 23,000 mixed aged ewes drawn from over a wide area. Recent sales of this class of breeding ewe indicate that earlier values are being well sustained.
