Mr. and Mrs. W. HaU Watson leave to-day for a holiday at Waikanae. Mr S T. Tlnney Intends visiting Auckland for part of the legal vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Jones intend spending their holidays at Waikanae Beach. , Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Lovelock and famny leave shortly to spend the holiday s at Thames. Mr. Ken Struthcrs leaves to-day for Gisborne, where he will join his wife tor the legal vacation. Lieut.-Col. and Mrs. W. H. Donaldson, ot Waikanae, are spending the Amas vacation in Pahiatua. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vaughan, of Cambridge Street, have returned home after a visit to the Capital City. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Hewitt, of Mangamalre, leaves to-morrow to spend Xmas with relatives in Palmerston North. Dr. and Mrs. E. B. Watson and family leave to-morrow for Waikanae Beach, where they will spend the school holidays. Miss Moira Purdie, of Wellington, is expected home to-day on a visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Purdie, of Tyndaill Street.

Miss M. Reese, who has been staying for several weeks with her 6ister, Mrs. H. Cornelius, of Mangahao, is returning to her home in Christchurch. • Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Siddells are spending the legal vacation in New Plymouth, where their daughter, Miss Suzanne Siddells is training as a nurse. Friends ot Mil. J. D. C. Crewe, of Wakeman Street, will be glad to learn that he has made such good progress in his protracted illness that he will be able to visit his daughter, Mrs. W. D. Corbett, in Napier for Xmas.
