Million and a half Murdered In Death Camp
Received Sunday, UK pj&. LONDON. Sept. M. A joint Polish-Soviet InveeUgattoo Commission states that It has been ascertained that the Germans murdered more than a million and a half persons in the Maidanek death camp near Lublin, says a Moscow communique. The bodies of more 600,000 were later burned in an attempt to hide the crime. The communique states; “The main culprits of this crime are the Nazi Government, Himmler personally and the S.S. officials who conducted the camp. It has been ascertained that Himmler Inspected the camp In the summer of 1948.”
