Riverbank Dairy Co.

The 29th annual meeting of the shareholders of the Riverbank Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., was held in the Ngawapurua Hall on Friday last, there being a fair attendance. The chairman, Mr. J. Hanarav, moved a motion of condolence to the relatives of the late Messrs G. R. Houghton and J. G. Bicknell and Mrs. W. N. Bradley. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted with very little discussion, the company having had a very successful year. The retiring directors, Messrs A. W. Corpe, F. W. G. Knapp and H. J. McPeak, were re-elected unopposed and returned thanks. The retiring auditor, Mr. S. G. Hogg, was also re-elected. A vote of appreciation was accorded the manager and staff and the acting-secretary for their services during the year. At a subsequent meeting of directors, Mr. J. Hanarav was unanimously re-elected chairman. This is Mr. Hanaray’s 20th term of office.
