Waituna West

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The end of the school term was celebrated by the Waituna West children’s annual fancy dress baL. The event was an outstanding success, the hall being filled to capacity by children in all manner of fancy dress. The costumes made a colourful display, tho originality of some evoking much attention. Appropriate decorations added to the enjoyment of the children. The teacher and helpers are to be congratulated on the splendid display of dancing rendered. The duties of M.C. wore carried out by Alaster Jack Coleman and Alaster Barry Hall. The children concluded their part of the programme with the grand march, after which dancing was carried on by the adultß to the strains of a popular orchestra. Air. J. W. Batchelar, in welcoming the large number present, referred to the forthcoming school jubilee which is due early next year.
