2000 Anti-Fascists Arrested in Argentine

I Two thousand Argentinians have been arrested in the past few weeks byl a pro-Fascist Argentinian Government. 1 Tbe Daily Worker reports that pro- ] Fascist officials this week arrested 500 people after a huge anti-Nazi demonstration in the public square of Buenos i Aires. The paper says that when the ! demonstrators called for an end to the regime under the pro-Fascist General Farrell the police fired at random.
