For Patriotic Purposes

There was an excellent attendance at the Feilding Drill Hall on Monday evening to witness the Ohakea Revue Company’s presentation, “Hangar Highlights,” and the patriotic fund will benefit considerably from tho £47 realised. . Members of tho R.N.Z.A.F. Station, Ohakea, comprised the personnel and their revue embracing choruses, sketches, ballets, vocal and instrumental items, against a background of music by tho station band, made for original entertainment. At the conclusion the Mayor (Mr. T. L. Seddon) extended thanks to Flight Lieut. Williams for the generous gesture in presenting tho concert for patriotic purposes, the success of tho revue being universally agreed upon. The performers and friends were afterwards tho guests of tho local W.W.S.A. at supper.
