TO THE ELECTORS OF POHANGINA COUNTY. POWER BOARD ELECTION. TN accepting nomination to represent the Fohangina County on the MsnewatuOroua Power Hoard, I am actuated by the conviction that the service to settlers in the County is capable of being both improved and developed. My lengthy active participation in Local Body Government along with mv intimate acquaintance with the County and the practical means whereby electricity may be made available more economically to settlers, are considerations which electors might well entertain. Experience has demonstrated that Primary Producers deserve a greater measure of consideration in the matter of charges and given your support at TO-DAY’S POLL it will be my earnest duty to secure for all settlers an improved service at a lower cost. I am not in favour of the Power Board accumulating profita at tha expense of the consumer and it will be my duty, if selected as your representative on the Board, to move for the revision of existing rates on the basis of the profits made over the past two years. The best interests of consumer*, particularly primary producers, are not served on the basis of trua aconomy when tho Board accumulates unwarranted profits. VOTE S. J. STRAHAN
