Bieder, Waring-Taylor, K. rvDskrudge, D. Christie, Mr. D. Christie and the hon. secretary, Mrs. D. R. Barron. Mrs. Battersby extended a welsome to t»ro new members and also expressed pleasure at seeing present Mrs. D. Christie (life member) and Mr. I). Christie (Advisory Board), especially as ("he Palmerston North representative had been unable to attend. Prior to the election of officers Mr. L>. Christie was asked to take the chair and on doing so he complimented the Society on its sound financial position and the satisfactory manner in which the work of the Society had been carried out during the past year. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Dr. Stephen E. Crawford; president, ,Mrs. \V. F. Battersby; vice-presidents, Mesdames Nichols and Trueman; committee, Mesdames Lay, McKenzie, Waring-Tay-lor, Bieder, Roskrudge and Marchant; hon. . secretary and treasurer, Mrs. D. R.
