Mangamutu W.I.

The Mangamutu W.I. held a successful dance, the music being supplied by Mrs. Tait and I. Merrie. Mr. J. Morris was M.C. Novelty dances were won as follows: Gay Gordons, Mrs. Reid and Mr. C. Soury; Luck Spot, Miss P. Tait and Mr. Moore; Gav Gordons, Miss Harris and Mr. W. Gale. The children’s dance was won by Miss and Master Thompson. A welcome was extended to Aircraftman lan Avery who was on final Extras were played by Mi I. Priest and Mr. Q. Holdaway. The committee wish to thank D. Heayus for the use of his amplifier, the M.C. ana the door and ticket-box keepers.
