Women’s Branch of the Labour Party
Mrs. O. King (president) wsus in the chair at the February meet ing of the branch, three new members being proposed and accepted. Members were thanked for their help at the A.N.A. Club at the beginning of the month. Mrs. Jervis was appointed a delegate from the brancn to the L-R.C. The president spoke of the passing of a g-eat Labour member, M:. P. T. Robincon, formerly of Palmerston North. The er retary was instructed to write and express sympathy wita Mrs. Robinson .•j.d family. Members were reminded of the annual meeting in March.
