Womens Baseball
Present indications are that the Manawatu Women’s Baseball (Softball) League may look forward to a very successful season. There has been a substantial increase in membership and the association’s decision to form a separate division for recently formed teams should encourage the new players. For the past month, players have been getting in quite a lot of practice j for the official opening which takes place at 2 p.m. to-morrow at the Hoko ! whitu Domain. ' The draw: —A Grade: Y.W.C.A. v I Kowhai; West End v. Exclusive Stars B Grade: Hutchins v. P.D.C.; W.A.A.F v. Exclusive.
