SUSPENDED FOR ONE MONTH The inquiry in the falling of Autolite in the last race on the first day of the Wanganui meeting was concluded on Saturday. The committee decided that V. Sellars, rider of Black Robe, hacl been responsible for an error of judgment which amounted to careless riding and Sellars was suspended for one month. NEW JUDGE POR OTAKI Mr. T. Parata, who has been judge for the Otaki-Maori Racing Club for many years, lias resigned. At a meet ing of stewards held last week, Mr. A. V. O’Brien was appointed to the position.
