(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 19... Tlie raihvay bus drivers in Wellington and at the Hutt who had threatened to refuso Avork to-day in order to enforce their demand for double pay for Sunday work decided this morning to return to work at noon. The decision was arrived at on the understanding that a deputation would be received by the General Alanagcr of raihvayß (Mr.' Casey) to-morroAV morning. The meeting of railway bus drivers, Avhich Avas held at the ilutt and Avas attended by representatives of the Wellington drivers, commenced at 6 a.m. and lasted for five hours. It Avas made clear during the meeting that failing a satisfactory settlement of the dispute another meeting Avould be held during the week to hear the report ot’ to-morrow’s negotiations Avith the RailAvays Department.
