Berlin Pounded Again
(British Official Wireless.) Received Sunday, 11 p.m. RUGBY, Sept. 4. A strong force of R.A.F. Liberators pounded Berlin again on Friday night dropping one thousand tons of bombs in twenty minutes. Pilots reported a wide circle of fiercely burning fires. The Germans used different defence tactics on this occasion. There were fewer night fighters and more anti-aircraft fire.
