Churchill Starts Off War Loan Drive

Received Sunday, 9 p.m. WASHINGTON, Sept. 4. Mr. Churchill made one of his moat colourful appearances at White House during the opening of the war loan drive for 15,000,000,000 dollars. He bought the first bond for 100 dollars and said he would hand it to his wife for her Russian relief fund. White House has announced that Mr. Churchill is broadcasting at 3 a.ui. Monday (New Zealand time) and added that the speech will have no special political significance.
