De Bono Under Arrest

Badoglio has arrested De Bono whom he replaced in 1935 as commander-in-chief in Abyssinia, says the Daily Express Berne correspondent quoting h report from. Milan. Other reported arrests include Marshal Cavallero, former Italian chief of staff, and also General Galiaeti, former commander ot the Fascist Militia who is charged with treason. De Bono was previously Mussolini’s closest friend. He led the Fascist march on Rome and is also believed to have been involved as police chief in Mafcteoti’s murder.
