Several heavy frosts were experienced early in the week and one was of exceptional severity. The ground was commencing to arrive at a condition suitable for gardeners, but yesterday’s rain will put gardening back again. At the weekly meeting of the First Feilding Boy Scout Troop, Major Neeve. of the Salvation Army, addressed a good attendance, his theme being education towards good citizenship. A Rugby match was arranged against the combined Sanson and Bulls troops, this to be played after the holidays. A court of honour closed the gathering.
