The wholesale price of eggs is further reduced by a Price Order as from Monday, August 3.(3. The new prices .are: Hen, heavy, 2s 3id, standard, Is Hid, medium, Is 9id; pullet, Is 6£d; large duck, Is IlAd, ‘small duck, Is 9td. Ungraded (depot to producer), Is Sid. 80 Octane Petrol This higher quality petrol is now being supplied in many territories and is meeting with much favour among motorists, states the annual report of the North Island Motor Union. Tests have shown an increased mileage per gallon which, combined with better engine performance, is a cause for satisfaction among car owners.
