This is the ninth annual sale. In the 1941/42 season. 37 of the Turakiua herd cows exceeded 4001bs. butterfat including seven returning over 5001bs. fat. The 75 cows of the “Mahoe” herd under G.O.H.T. (including 17 2-year-olds and 17 tliree-year-olds) averaged 373.881b5. fat in 298 days. A study of the catalogue will show the long time records of many of the herd cows which are the dams of the progeny being brought forward for sale. We can recommend the heifers being offered as being a fine lot, and they have been depasturing with proved butterfat sires since October 30th. The bulls to be offered are of excellent breeding and have the backing of wonderful butterfat records. This sale is an excellent opportunity for dairy men to purchase quality stock with the backing of life-time records.
