The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Limited report on their Rongotea Stock Sale as follows: — A heavy yarding of fat cattle came forward and included a Tew pens of prime Hereford cows and heifers. Competition was good and values mere on a par with outside centres. A good entry of store and boner cows also sold at late rates. Dairy cows and heifers were in more than average numbers and in this section competition was good and prices realized were most pleasing. A few pens of fat and store lambs changed hands at late rates. Quotations. —Fat Hereford heifers £8 17s fid to £9 10a, fat cows and hqifers ex dairy £5 to £9, store cows £3 10s to £5, boner cows 15s to 30s, springing Jersey heifers £8 to £lO ss, later sorts £6 to £7 10s, later
calvers £6 to £B, springing dairy cows £S 10s to £l2 12s, fat hoggets £1 0a fid to £1 3s, store hoggets 13s to 15s.
