Small U.S. Submarine Lost

Received Sundav, 8.20 p.m. WASHINGTON, June 26. The U.S. Navy announced the loss of submarine Rl2 while training off the east coast recently, probably as the result of an accident. The complement was 28, some of whom were saved. The submarine was one of the Navy's oldest and smallest, being commissioned m 1919. It had a displacement of 530 tons.
