Aircraftman Killed In Head-on Collision

NEW PLYMOUTH, Juno 27. A leading aircraftman of the R.N.Z.A.F. was killed when a motorcycle lio was riding collided hoad-on with a car at Bell Block about midday on Saturday. The victim was Peter John Clarke, aged 24, single, whose parents live at Te Araroa. The car was driven by L.A.C. Gilbert Cleaver. Clarke received severe head injuries and died immediately.
