Mr. and Mrs. L. Cole have returned home from an enjoyable holiday spent at New Plymouth. L/Cpl. Jean Groves spent special leave with her parents. Mr, and Mrs. A. Groves. Const. T. J. Miles, who has been (he guest of Mr. and Mrs. R. Hamilton, has returned to his home in Blenheim. Mrs. Jefferies “Burford” is staying with her daughter, Mrs. T. J. Miles, Blenheim. Mrs. A. Marshall, Mrss Ruth Marshall and John Marshall were recent visitors to Wellington. Mrs. Watkins and Mrs. Burr and baby daughter are the guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. U. B. Miles. Dvr. J. Humphreys was the guest of honour at a social evening held recently. Mr. W. Harvey wished John a speedy return and made him the customary presentation. Mrs. W. Humphreys was the recipient of a shoulder spray. A magazine artcle mentions that Marshal Gocmig has icmarkably small feet. Maybe, but he can’t have seen them for years.
