Munich Bombed by Big R.A.F. Force
Received Thursday, i a.m. LONDON, Mar. 10. The R.A.P. attacked Munich last night in what is described as a heavy raid. The bombers made the 1200mile journey 24 hours after their devastating raid on Nuremberg. The German radio complains of damage to cultural buildings, among which they apparently include the headquarters of the Nazi Party, but Munich is a great industrial centre, including engineering works turning out submarine engines, tanks and armoured cars. It is also a great railway junction with lines leading to Berlin, Vienna and Italy.
